ABHA, 18 July 2006 — A man suspected of the sexual assault of 16-year-old boy here was arrested hiding beneath an abaya in the women’s section of a mosque, Al-Watan newspaper reported yesterday. The man, accused of raping a minor and recording the incident with a mobile phone, reportedly has a criminal history. The newspaper also reported that another suspected rapist was arrested near Jizan to the south and charged with assaulting a seven-year-old girl. The suspect allegedly abducted the girl at knifepoint from in front of her house, took her to a remote location and raped her.
