TABUK, 18 July 2006 — A Saudi woman arrived at a hospital here in labor, the daily Okaz reported yesterday. She delivered a healthy baby boy and was taken to a room for recovery. Nurses were shocked to later discover that the woman had fled the hospital without claiming her newborn child. Authorities are searching for the woman.
