JEDDAH, 19 July 2006 — Crown Prince Sultan, deputy prime minister and minister of defense and aviation, will leave today on a four-day state visit to France on an invitation from President Jacques Chirac, according to a Royal Court statement yesterday.
The statement said, “The visit aims to be a means of communicating with international leaders on topics relating to the interests of the people of Saudi Arabia and also on issues relating to the Ummah.”
Prince Sultan last visited Paris in 1999 when he was second deputy premier.
