MADINAH, 21 July 2006 — A Saudi man couldn’t believe his luck when his wife of 20 years proposed that he take on a second wife, the Okaz daily reported. In fact the woman was so adamant that her husband take another wife, that she insisted on personally choosing a bride for him. The first wife’s father was amazed and said he could not believe his ears. To add to the husband’s delight, the first wife also said that she would like her fellow wife to live in the family home and that she would treat her like her own little sister.
