BHOPAL, India, 23 November 2006 — Records are made to be broken, and singing records are no exception. Three world records for non-stop singing were broken recently in India and a vow was made to break the record once again. Indore’s Deepak Gupta sang for 101 hours straight in Coimbatore, breaking the record that was broken the day before by 16-year-old Sania Syed Qadir from Khandwa. The record was initially broken by Indore’s Akanksha Jachak, 15, on Nov. 9 when he sang for 61 hours. Now Qadir vows to reclaim the title by singing for 125 hours.
