CAIRO, 24 July 2006 — The shooting of the serial, “Souq Al-Khodar,” was interrupted due to lead actor, Saeed Tarabik, complaining of heart problems, the Al-Watan daily reported yesterday.
Tarabik was rushed to a hospital during filming at Shabramat in Giza.
The series is due to be released in mid-October on the Dubai Channel.
The director of the serial said filming would continue and the scenes involving Tarabik, who appears along side actress Fifi Abdoh, will be completed once he is discharged from the hospital.
The cast of the film includes Hadi Al-Jayar, Jamal Abdul Nasser, Rida Idris, Amal Ibrahim, Sami Al-Adal, Mustafa Al-Damardash and Thoraya Ibrahim.
