RIYADH, 31 August 2006 — The Second Philippine International School Athletic Society (SPIS-AS) launches its 4th Parents Invitational Basketball Tournament tomorrow at the SPIS covered court on Thalateen Street, Olaya area here.
The opening ceremony starts at 1 p.m. In addition to basketball, volleyball and badminton for men and ladies are also on tap in this annual event aimed at promoting camaraderie and goodwill among parents and teachers and students as well.
Electro, Stop Shop Coffe and Pepsi are the event sponsors.
To run the three-in-one event are the new set of officers of SPIS-AS as follows:
Central Committee Chairma Zaldy Vacante, Vice-Chairman Leo Argoso, Secretary Ed Relox, Treasurer Mar Cariño, Auditor Ruben Tan, P.R.O. Rodel Salvatiera and Coordinator Romy Jugo.
The advisers are Ed Gavilo, Zaldy Braza, Albert Pecson and Loren Balandra.
