JEDDAH, 24 September 2006 — A Saudi Red Crescent worker and three others were killed when a vehicle slammed into an emergency van that was involved in rescue operations at another accident, Al-Watan reported yesterday. As the rescue worker was helping injured passengers in an accident on Thursday, a car with three Saudi youths hit the Red Crescent vehicle and ran over the rescue worker who died shortly after arriving at King Abdul Aziz Hospital. The speeding car overturned and killed the three young men.
