JEDDAH, 28 September 2006 — A science exhibition was held at Al Wurood International School here recently displaying 176 works of both boys and girls. Director V.P. Mohammed Ali opened the exhibition that showcased the inventive genius and craftsmanship of the students.
Mohammed Ali, who visited the stalls at the exhibition, urged students to work hard to become future scientists and inventors. The school had appointed judges to evaluate the students’ exhibits and creativity. The exhibition focused on conservation of environment, first aid, means of transport, city water supply, solar system, solar energy and space exploration.
There was an excellent power-point show highlighting the harmful effects of smoking and impact of science and technology on mankind. The exhibition also shed light on the speedy development in the field on information technology. A large number of parents visited the exhibition.
