AL-JOUF, 30 September 2006 — A driver left a mosque in this northern city and crashed into a parked car, the Al-Eqtisadiah daily reported yesterday. He fled the scene of the accident only to crash into another car seconds later. As the man once again fled the scene, the owner of the second car, who witnessed the hit-and-run, called the police. It didn’t take long for the cops to catch the driver; less than a kilometer from the mosque they found him in his wrecked car. He had driven into the wall of a cemetery. During the arrest, the man said he didn’t see the wall, or the two cars, either.
