DAMMAM, 1 October 2006 — Saudi singer Abdullah Rashad has denied charges made by the United Arab Emirates singer Ahlam that he was behind some personal attacks on her.
Ahlam accused Rashad of having said of the honorary doctorate she received, “She did not deserve the doctorate,” the Al-Watan daily reported recently.
In another development Rashad said that he would be participating in four musical events in Riyadh, Jeddah and the Eastern Province organized by Saudi Television to mark this year’s Eid festival.
