JEDDAH, 3 October 2006 — Saudi Arabia Airlines inaugurated on Sunday its mechanical departure system and boarding pass issuing machine for a travel agency in Jeddah, the first agency to be mechanized.
This is part of Saudia launching electronic services including making reservations and making payments through the Internet.
Twenty-five travel and tourism agencies in Jeddah, Riyadh, Madinah and Makkah will be connected together in the first phase of providing all travel agencies with boarding pass issuing machines.
