Philippine Embassy and Consulate Closed for Eid Holidays

JEDDAH, 10 October 2006 — The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh and Consulate General in Jeddah will be closed during the Eid Holidays.

The embassy said office work would ground to a halt from Oct. 16 to 27, while the consulate would be closed from Oct. 17 to 27.

Separate announcements by Consul Romulo Victor M. Israel Jr., acting administrative officer of the embassy, and Administrative Officer Camilo Mendiola of the consulate, advised the public to transact business with the mission either before the holidays or when office work resumes on Oct. 28.
