JIZAN, 10 October 2006 — Four girls in Jizan foiled the attempt of a young teaser who tried to take their photographs with his mobile phone without their permission. The girls, Nauf, Sarah, Halima and Hagar, were wearing a special type of earrings fitted with an electronic chip, which upset the lens of the camera. The camera would be spoiled if attempts were made from close quarters. The girls, who are students of electronics and computer sciences at a secondary school in the city, developed the device recently and want to present their invention at the Center for the Gifted and get a patent for it, Okaz reported yesterday.
