Regent Hotels to Double Portfolio

DUBAI, 11 October 2006 — Regent Hotels, the luxury brand of the fast-growing Brussels-based Rezidor SAS Hospitality, will more than double its global portfolio over the next two years with the addition of eight new properties across the Middle East, Asia, Europe and the US. In the Middle East, Regent will open its first resort property in Dubai. The Regent Dubai, Canal Point will be a landmark hotel in the emirate with its unique architecture inspired by the Asian lotus flower. The property will be between The Palm, Jumeirah and Jebel Ali Free Zone and will be part of a new residential development.

Sunland Group Joins With EIH

Dubai Properties to Shift Headquarters

DUBAI — Dubai Properties announced yesterday that it will move into its new headquarters by mid 2007. The master developer is currently in the construction phase of the 388,000 sq.ft mid-rise building, located in the TECOM Free zone. The new facility will have the capacity to accommodate Dubai Properties’ growing resources of the current 700 employees and the planned staff for the next five years. The facility will significantly enhance the company’s corporate unity while expanding the customer sales centre area.
