RIYADH, 8 November 2006 — Interior Minister Prince Naif said yesterday that security forces deployed in the Kingdom’s oil regions were ready to face any situation.
“Security measures in oil regions are not something new. But they are always upgraded and are fully prepared to confront any incident,” the Saudi Press Agency quoted Naif as saying.
Naif made this statement while speaking to reporters after opening an international conference on tourism.
