JUBAIL, 21 November 2006 — Old boys of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) will celebrate Sir Syed Day at the Petrokemya Beach Camp here on Nov. 29.
The event will be marked by honoring the architect of Maulana Mohammed Ali Jawhar University, Uttar Pradesh Minister of Urban Development and Parliamentary Affairs Mohammed Azam Khan. The university is coming up in Rampur.
Nadeem Tarin, a Riyadh-based businessman and philanthropist, is helping the cause by setting up an engineering college at the proposed university, according to Suhail Ahmed Ansari, coordinator of Sir Syed Day Celebrations, Jubail.
