DUBAI/AJMAN, 28 November 2006 — A Malaysian delegation led by the Minister of Higher Education Mustapa ibn Mohamed visited Dubai Knowledge Village and held talks with key officials on ways of boosting educational cooperation between Malaysia and the UAE.
The delegation was received by Dr. Ayoub Kazim, executive director of Dubai Knowledge Village.
“We are keen to facilitate increased interaction and cooperation between the higher-education sectors of Malaysia and the UAE,” said Dr. Kazim. “There are several complementarities between the educational sectors in our countries that can be tapped for mutual benefit,” he added.
The delegation was later taken on a tour of the Dubai Knowledge Village.
The Malaysian team also visited the Gulf Medical College Ajman (GMCA) and held talks with its President Thumbay Moideen.
Accompanied with Malaysian Ambassador Abdul Mubin ibn Razali, Mustapa toured to different departments of GMCA and assured his cooperation to GMCA.
