JEDDAH, 13 December 2006 — A military officer is missing after a Dolphin helicopter of the Saudi Royal Navy fell in the sea during a training flight as a result of technical failure, a Defense Ministry spokesman said. “The pilot and co-pilot were rescued while a search is on for a technical aviation officer,” the official said. The ministry has launched a probe to ascertain the reasons behind the accident.
