DAMMAM, 22 December 2006 — Bahraini director Muhammad Al-Gafas will start shooting his new movie, “Zuhur min Jahim (“The Flowers of Fire”), in Dammam, the daily Al-Watan reported yesterday.
The Saudi producer of the movie, Abbas Al-Mahna said the film would focus on important social issues in Saudi society.
Saudi actors including Jaafar Al-Gharib, Moataz Al-Abdallah, and Muhammad Al-Qahtani dominate the cast.
Abbas stressed that support was needed from local investors and viewers for the development of the Kingdom’s film industry.
