Five winners were announced at a draw organized by the DTC, a diamond promotion service entity, at the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce & Industry on Sunday. Winners are Haroon Rashid of Alkhobar, Abeer Ali-Hassan of Jeddah, Shayma Lababidi of Makkah, Ibrahim Ahmed Jalal of Makkah and Tamar Shadauglian of Riyadh. The draw was related to a promotion conducted by the DTC, which involved the answering of a question about when the diamond was first discovered a million years ago, two million years ago and over a billion years. “Those who answered the third option were deemed correct while picking the coupons for prizes,” Anas M. RED SEA HOUSING

Jubail-based Red Sea Housing Services Company, a shelter expert of the Middle East, Africa and Asia, has announced two prominent agreements for purchasing its modular housing solutions. Dr. Majid Al-Kassabi, chairman of Red Sea Housing Services, said that his company had signed an agreement with Nesma & Partners Contracting Co. Ltd. to provide temporary facilities at Khurais to support the “Grass-Roots Refinery” being built there by Saudi Aramco. The project includes all temporary buildings for the Aramco project management and staff. The SR25.2 million deal consists of 700 module floors to be produced, delivered and installed. “This contract with Nesma represents the progressive growth of our primary business,” said Donnie Sumner of Red Sea Housing. “Our company continues to have a dominant presence in the market for remote site housing and camp accommodations and housing, especially in the area of support for the oil exploration industry.”

Autobytel has recognized the Hyundai Santa Fe as the “SUV of the Year” for its 2007 Editors’ Choice Awards. Hyundai earned two additional victories in the “Best new midsize SUV” and “Best new minivan” categories for the Santa Fe and Entourage, respectively. Awards were distributed at the 2006 Los Angeles Auto Show. The fourth annual Autobytel awards event involves a listing of the best new 2007 vehicles on the market. The Coca-Cola Company has announced Ahmet Bozer as president of Eurasia Group, consisting of 43 countries, effective Jan. 1. In his new role, Bozer will be leading all of the company’s operations in a vast geographical region that stretches from Eastern Europe to Russia, India and Pakistan, as well as the Middle East. The Eurasia Group will be headquartered in Istanbul and Bozer will continue reporting to President and COO Muhtar Kent. “Bozer’s experience makes him extremely well prepared to lead a group that stretches from Eastern Europe to Russia, India and Pakistan,” Kent said. Bozer has more than 16 years experience with the CCC. He first joined the company in 1990 and held a number of roles in the finance department. In 1994, he joined Coca-Cola Bottlers of Turkey, now Coca-Cola Icecek, as CFO and was later named managing director in 1998.
