JEDDAH, 11 January 2007 — Al-Shabab and Al-Taie played out 0-0 in an average game in the first second leg match in the Prince Faisal ibn Fahd Competition last night.
The match was played at Prince Faisal ibn Fahd Stadium in Riyadh.
With more matches in the fixtures, Shabab temporarily hold the top position with 8 points, while Taie remain at the bottom with one point only.
In today’s fixtures, Al-Wehda of Makkah will host Al-Nasr of Riyadh in their Group A match. Nasr and Wehda tied 2-2 in the first leg. Currently Wehda are third in their group with two points and Nasr at bottom having two points but on goal differences. In another match in the same group today, Jeddah-based Al-Ittihad will face Al-Faisali. Both teams drew 2-2 in their first leg match. Ittihad are second with five points and Faisali are at first position with the same five points due to better goal average.
Ittihad looking to secure the game three points by winning the match and on their way to qualify for the quarterfinals.
