JEDDAH, 1 February 2007 — Saudi actor Abdul Ilah Al-Sinani will begin shooting a new film “Sinin Al-Rahmat,” in a few months. The story is of the Kingdom in the days before oil came to play a major role in Saudi life. Saleh Al-Fauzan is the director and scriptwriter of the film, which will be produced by Saudi Television in collaboration with MBC, Al-Sinani told the daily Al-Watan yesterday.
Al-Sinani is currently in a film about an ancient Arab king, Abu Jaafar Al-Mansour which is being shot in Syria and Jordan.
