I woke up one morning thinking of the painful truth
Am I the only person who’s seeing what’s really going on?
Or do people know and ignore; so they can feel more secure!
We can’t just close our eyes to whom we know are suffering…
To people who live in a place where there is no food nor shelter
To innocents… who get killed due to peoples’ greed
To babies and mothers savagely murdered by guns or blasting bombs
Do we call killing and murdering civilization!
Is this civilization of the 21st century?
Is this right? Can anyone hear? Does anyone care!
We are all human beings made from flesh and blood
We all have noses, ears and eyes… mine might be hazel yours might be blue
But we’re all the same, yet some can’t see… they don’t have a clue
They just want to kill for some sick reason… or maybe for gluttony
That’s the painful truth; do you think you can handle this reality?
Or… will you turn your back and pretend it’s only another mystery!!!
