JEDDAH, 10 August 2007 — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah ordered the Ministry of Finance yesterday to provide immediate assistance of $50 million to Bangladesh that suffered huge losses in terms of human life and property in the recent floods. The aid will also include airlifting of medical relief, basic requirements and food in coordination with the Saudi Red Crescent Society, and cooperation of the humanitarian organizations and the government of that country, according to a statement of the Royal Court yesterday reported by the Saudi Press Agency.
