ISLAMABAD, 12 August 2007 — US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice will visit Pakistan in the middle of this month, an informed source said yesterday.
The schedule of Rice’s visit has not been revealed due to security reasons but preparations are being made for her trip. The government has booked two hotels in the capital for Rice’s visit and security personnel have taken control of them to ensure fool-proof security.
Though Foreign Office has not announced the exact program but sources said Rice will hold talks with President Pervez Musharraf, Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz and her counterpart Khurshid Mahmud Kasuri.
