MADINAH, 13 August 2007 — Police have released members of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice, who were accused of killing a Bangladeshi worker that they arrested for not praying. The commission members had arrested the man, who was seen washing cars during Maghrib prayers. According to a doctor, the man had died of natural causes. After being arrested, commission members said the man was made to sit to in a car. A short while later, he failed to respond and was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead, local media reported.
