YANBU, 15 August 2007 — Police in Yanbu arrested a thief minutes after he stole a car. The owner of the vehicle left the car running and entered a shop to buy something quickly not knowing that it was enough time for the thief to take off with his car. The owner immediately called police and gave a detailed description of the car. He also gave the direction of the road the thief must have taken. Undercover police officers spotted the thief and he was surrounded. The thief had three accomplices with him in the stolen vehicle.
