JEDDAH, 19 August 2007 — Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al-Faisal successfully underwent neck surgery in a New York hospital on Friday, according to a royal court statement issued in Jeddah yesterday.
The prince was operated upon to remove calcification on his cervical vertebrae. He will return to the Kingdom after the normal convalescence period, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
