YANBU, 22 August 2007 — The Yanbu General Hospital has transferred the Saudi patient Fateema Al-Refaie, who has been pronounced brain dead by a specialist doctor, to King Fahd Hospital in Madinah to continue her medication and to finish the procedures of the special committee that was formed to determine whether she was brain dead or not. Doctors at the Yanbu hospital still claim that the woman is not brain dead.
