Applications for consular services will be received from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The processed documents will be delivered the following day between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m.
Cultural Program
JEDDAH, 29 August 2007 — The Indian Cultural Society Jeddah and Bazm-e-Osmania, Jeddah will be holding a grand cultural program to mark the 60th anniversary of India’s independence on Aug. 30 at Al-Salam Compound, Al-Rehab district. The event will feature qawwalis, ghazals and film songs by well-known singers of Jeddah. The event starts at 9.30 p.m.
Qawwali Night
RIYADH, 29 August 2007 — The Indian Embassy will organize a qawwali program in association with Indian Council for Cultural Relations as part of the celebration of the 60th anniversary of India’s independence. The event will be held Aug. 30 in the Girls’ Section auditorium of the International Indian School, Riyadh at 8 p.m. The eight-member qawwali group will be led by well-known Indian qawwal Mohammed Ahmed Khan Warsi. Entry to the program will be on invitation.
