JEDDAH, 2 September 2007 — Municipal authorities closed down four warehouses and a restaurant in Briman east of the Jeddah-Makkah Expressway that was making sambousas using expired ingredients. Five Bangladeshi workers were arrested during the municipality raid.

The materials they were using were stored in four warehouses nearby the restaurant. The workers were found to be violating hygienic rules while preparing the food, according to health inspectors.
