RIYADH, 5 September 2007 — Al-Khalediya Farm will hold an international festival for Arabian horses including an equestrian beauty contest and race on Jan. 16 next year, Prince Khaled ibn Sultan, assistant minister of defense and aviation for military affairs, announced yesterday.
“The festival is open to owners of Arabian horses,” he told reporters after attending a beauty contest for Arabian horses in Towerland, UK.
Horses from Al-Khalediya stable won three titles, the Saudi Press Agency said. Horses from the Al-Khalediya stable had earlier won 23 championships held in Dubai, Sharjah, Las Vegas, Kentucky, Moncton, Belgium and the UK.
