JEDDAH, 16 September 2007 — Police in Jeddah said yesterday that the Saudi man in his 30s that was found dead recently in a car in the Mushrefa neighborhood of Jeddah had died of a drug overdose. No foul play is suspected, according to medical examiners. The body was found slumped over a steering wheel.
The local authorities also mentioned that they arrested six suspects on drug-related charges. Authorities also mentioned that they have arrested 1,017 illegal residents in Jeddah after sweeps in neighborhoods where these residents tend to hide out.
