JEDDAH, 16 September 2007 — Office hours at the Philippine Embassy in Riyadh and Consulate in Jeddah have been adjusted effective yesterday in line with the observance of the Ramadan.
According to the new schedule, office hours start at 10 a.m. and closing time is at 3 p.m. from Saturdays to Wednesdays.
The Thursday schedule, which is from 8 a.m. to 12 noon, for the consular sections are suspended.
The embassy said its consular team will also not render consular services such as issuance of passports renewal of passports, visa authentication, and other routines for the duration of the Ramadan.
The same schedule applies to the embassy’s Eastern Region Operations, said the embassy in a press statement.
Both embassy and the consulate said regular working hours will resume after the Eid Al-Fitr holidays, which concludes the holy month.
