NEW DELHI, 22 September 2007 — India’s largest private news channel, NDTV, unveiled yesterday a new satellite channel targeting the millions of South Asian expatriates living in the Middle East and Africa. NDTV Arabia, a free-to-air channel to be officially launched at the end of October, will be “info-tainment-based, with business, news and lifestyle” the channel said in a statement. Most programming will be in English.
