ZALIM, 26 October 2007 — Several villagers here rescued a man from the wrath of a camel as the beast turned on its owner and began chomping down on the man’s hand and body, the Okaz daily reported yesterday. The man was loading the camel onto his truck in this town, which is 220 kilometers from Taif. The camel apparently, did not want to get on the truck and when the man used force, he turned on him and began biting the man. Villagers who heard his cries of help, managed to distract the camel and rushed the man to the nearest hospital.
