JEDDAH, 2 October 2007 — Jeddah United and the Faisal Park boys basketball teams played an exciting exhibition game at the Panasonic 3-on-3 Street Ball Tournament in front of Ice Land.
Jeddah United Sports Company gave a basketball clinic at Faisal Park over the summer. Coach Amin Bahartha took on the challenge of organizing and training the players. This was only their second official game.
In the first half, Jeddah United answered Faisal Park basket for basket and had a one point lead 9 to 8. Faisal Park then took over the lead in the second half and held on to win by 3 points 19 -16. The crowd loved the action along with the three-point shootout and the half court shooting contest and the 3 on 3 games. The night was enjoyed by all.
Jeddah United and Faisal Park return to the court today for a rematch. Also on tap today are the semifinal games leading to the Panasonic 3-on-3 championship.
