JEDDAH, 3 October 2007 — Prominent businessmen, including Muhiyuddin Saleh Kamel and Abdul Rahman Faqeeh, have been elected to the 11-member board of Jabal Omar Development Company in Makkah. The board, which is Jabal Omar’s first, was elected during a meeting of the company’s general assembly at its showroom on Jeddah-Makkah Expressway. Other members of the board are: Tarek Abdul Rahman Faqeeh, Suleiman Al-Matroudi, Mohammed Al-Eisa, Ibrahim Al-Subaie, Ahmed Al-Hamdan, Abdul Ghani Sabbagh, Ziyad Al-Bassam, Anas Sairafi and Mansour Saeed. Abdul Rahman Faqeeh, committee chairman, highlighted the importance of the Jabal Omar real estate project, saying it would change the face of Makkah.
