JEDDAH, 22 October 2007 — National Commercial Bank (NCB) recently opened a new office for ladies in Samer district, western Jeddah.
Ayman Al-Tayyar, NCB head of Islamic Branch Network Division, said the opening of more offices for ladies came in light of the bank’s continued expansion targeted at the ladies sector and the growth of customer demand for the services which requires provision of service outlets.
Sami Kaki, NCB regional director for the western region, said the new office will provide clients with all sophisticated banking, financing and investment services compliant with the terms and conditions of the Islamic banking and endorsed by the bank’s Shariah council. He said the number of ladies offices in the western region grew to 11 branch offices and a main office in Jeddah.
NCB’s Islamic banking services include a package of financial and investment products which the bank developed and designed to meet the needs of clients. The new branch has unique architectural designs which reflect modern developments in the banking industry
The new office has several sections, including a section for electronic services, where clients can deposit, withdraw and pay utility bills. The other section deals with services and investment products. The third section is a special service area.
