MANAMA, 5 November 2007 — International Investment Bank (IIB), a globally focused investment bank based in Bahrain, increased by over a 100 percent its capital from $45 million to $100 million, said Chairman of IIB board Saad Abdul Jalil Mohammed Al-Fahim, who also chaired the annual general assembly held at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel and Spa, yesterday.

IIB’s net income reached $14 million in the first 9 months of 2007, an increase of 119.8 percent compared to $6.4 million earned in the same period last year.

Total income increased by 125.5 percent to $24.9 million in the period.
