RIYADH, 13 November 2007 — In an article focusing on energy leaders in Financial Times, Saudi Aramco President and CEO Abdallah S. Jum’ah sits atop the list.
The article, titled “Who’s who: Ten top powers to be reckoned with,” is by reporter Ed Crooks, who writes that “If there is one man on whom the future of global prosperity rests, it is Abdallah Jum’ah.”
Financial Times credits Jum’ah with delivering increases in the Kingdom’s oil production that consuming countries are counting on.
Crooks notes the company’s ambitious capital program that includes several current megaprojects intended on boosting both oil and gas production as well as adding to the nation’s petrochemical feedstock — a cornerstone in the Kingdom’s economic development plans.
