JEDDAH, 6 December 2007 — Second round action continued last night in the Prince Faisal ibn Fahd Basketball Championship at the Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal basketball hall here.
In the first game, Ohud had a strong game against Qadisiya winning by 71-60. The scoring was balanced on both teams although Ahmad Samenta played extremely well for Qadisiya. But one player cannot win a game by himself.
Ansar snatched their second win in the second round by beating Al-Ahli 64-55 in the second game. Ansar led by 11 points at half time 31-20.
Every time Ahli made a move to close the gap Ansar answered with a three pointer, and Ahli could not gain any ground. The second round ends today with Ittihad facing Ohud and Hilal going against Ahli.
