MAKKAH, 8 December 2007 — The Makkah-based Abdul Rahman Faqeeh Model School has won the accreditation of the International Computer Driving License (ICDL) to conduct its courses and training at the school’s laboratories.
ICDL is a leading program providing individuals with basic computer skills training and validation/certification testing. The ICDL certification is approved by 140 countries the world over. The certificate is also approved by the Civil Service Department and the General Organization for Technical Education and Vocational Training.
Meanwhile, Shoura Council Chairman Saleh Bin-Humaid commended the school’s efforts to exploit the latest advancement in technology in improving the quality of education in the Kingdom while he visited the school on Wednesday, according to a press statement.
