RIYADH, 13 December 2007 — Police arrested two Indonesians in their 20s who are suspected of having raped and robbed a woman after threatening to kill her 10-year-old daughter if she didn’t comply, Al-Riyadh newspaper reported yesterday.
The woman told the police that when she returned home from work last Sunday, she found two men in her flat. One of them was holding a knife at her daughter’s neck, she reportedly told police. They asked her to comply with them or they will kill the girl. The woman obeyed them for the sake of her daughter.
The two men rapped her and robbed her money, mobile phone and a gold necklace. The woman identified one of the attackers and said he was a relative of hers. The man then allegedly confessed to the crime and informed police of his accomplice.
