RIYADH, 17 December 2007 — Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, chairman of Kingdom Foundation, received at his office in Riyadh the consultant physician nephrologist and general manager of the Saudi Center for Organ Transplant (SCOT) Dr. Faissal A.M. Shaheen and his accompanying delegation. The foundation said in a statement on Sunday that Dr. Shaheen presented Alwaleed with a letter from Prince Salman, governor of Riyadh and honorary president of SCOT, thanking him for his SR1 million donation to SCOT that will assist and help develop the center’s organ transplant programs in Saudi Arabia.
