RIYADH, 18 December 2007 — Indian artists staged a musical program “ITFAA Musical Extravaganza” here that drew a large number of music fans. Well-known musicians including Master Sikandar participated in the event. Indian Ambassador M.O.H. Farook lit a lamp to mark the beginning of the program. The program began with Sikandar delivering his popular number “Chand Sifarish” from the Indian movie “Fanaa.” Suresh Srinivas, a prominent local artist, mesmerized the audience with foot-tapping number “Gulabi Aaankhen” from the movie “The Train.” Ashwini’s number Yeh Mera Dil Pyaar Ka Deewana from film Don was highly appreciated. Gopalakrishnan and Vidya treated especially the Tamil audience to latest Tamil numbers like “Ra Ra” from Chandramuki & “Wahji Wahji” from the movie Shivaji. Other artists also enthralled the music lovers with their fabulous performance.
