RIYADH, 5 January 2008 — New subscribers to Mobily’s “7ala” prepaid mobile telephony package will get twice as much as they paid for once they subscribe to the service.

As of today, new subscribers and conquest clients through the “Raqme” service will get SR75’s worth of free calls, in addition to the initial SR75 credit already built into the newly purchased card.

The free extra credit comes in three monthly installments. The client gets an immediate SR25 credit once they make the first call. Thirty days later, they get another SR20 and the same credit 60 days after the first call. They also get SR10 after 90 days from the day they dialed that first number.

To make the best of this offer, subscribers should charge their accounts with at least SR30 a month and they will be reminded to do so via SMS messages from the company.

Mobily’s prepaid packages are unique in that they already come loaded with all the value-added services made optional by competing service providers, such as 3.5G, international roaming with more than 100 partner service providers all over the world. Other extremely useful services include missed call alerts by name while the handset had been turned off, MMS and “Rannan” the ring back tone service, as well as conference calls, location and other services.

Mobily has also made it easy for its clients to recharge their accounts by providing more than one way to do so. Clients can recharge using Mobily auto machines available at all of the company’s outlets, or through the M-Pay machines that can be found at all Mobily outlets and authorized distributors. Or they can do it the old-fashioned way using recharge cards. They can also do it directly through their bank accounts using the “Sadad” menu, of any national bank.
