JEDDAH, 13 January 2008 — The Jameel Gate for Livelihood, a service scheme under the Abdul Latif Jameel Community Services Programs (ALJCSP), and Zain Saudi Arabia, signed an agreement in which Jameel Gate would help some 2,000 Saudi youths to work in Zain.
Under the accord, Jameel Gate would invite and receive applications from prospective job seekers and help Zain in selecting its workers.
It would also facilitate the marketing of Zain products and services through its 20 branches that would be opened shortly across the Kingdom, the agreement stipulated.
Muhammad Abdul Latif Jameel, chairman of the ALJCSP, lauded the agreement, saying that the move would help more Saudi youths find employment.
Marwan Al-Ahmadi, executive president of Zain Saudi Arabia, expressed his desire to offer employment to a large number of Saudis.
Jameel Gate for Livelihood is one of the ALJ community programs that provide employment opportunities, a company statement said yesterday.
