JEDDAH, 31 January 2008 — Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, governor of Makkah Region, will be inaugurating the second Gulf Investment and Tourism Forum (GITOF 2008) on Feb. 17 at the Jeddah Hilton Hotel.

The three-day forum is participated by various countries including Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Australia, South Africa and the World Tourism Organization.

Participating countries would showcase their experiences in enhancing and developing service, investment and tourism sectors, while the Gulf countries would present tourism investment incentives that are available in the region.

Saeed Asiri, head of the organizing committee of GITOF 2008, said the event also has an exhibition to be participated by private and governmental sectors including the Bahrain Ministry of Information, Kuwaiti Ministry of Trade, Supreme Tourism Commission, National Cultural Council and Tourism Development Commission of the UAE.
